Recently, Truliva Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Truliva Group") and ZHENYUN successfully launched a digital procurement platform. Built on ZY's digital procurement platform, the project efficiently implemented core modules including supplier lifecycle management, source-to-contract, and quality collaboration. This establishes a digital management system covering the entire procurement value chain, comprehensively enhancing supply chain operational efficiency and risk control capabilities while injecting strong momentum into the company's digital transformation.
About Truliva Group
Founded in 1998, Truliva Group specializes in the R&D, manufacturing, and sales of water purification equipment, drinking water appliances, and commercial water treatment systems. For over two decades, the company has been dedicated to leading the development of China's water purification industry through technology and service innovation.
As a pioneering enterprise in water treatment technology, Truliva invented the dedicated water purifier for water dispensers and the tankless instant-heating water dispenser. The company has obtained more than 3,000 domestic and international authorized patents and has undertaken national projects such as the "National Industrial Revitalization and Technology Transformation" program and the "National High-Tech Research and Development Program (863 Program)." Truliva has been honored with major awards including the "National Science and Technology Progress Second Prize," "China Patent Excellence Award," and "China Standard Innovation Contribution Award." It is also a national innovative pilot enterprise, one of the first batch of national intellectual property demonstration enterprises, and the leading unit of the National Technical Committee for Water Purifier Standardization.
Reconstructing Procurement Management Through Digitalization
In recent years, competition in the water purification industry has intensified, and market conditions have evolved rapidly, placing higher demands on supply chain responsiveness and collaboration efficiency. Truliva Group's procurement chain is relatively complex, requiring exceptionally high coordination across the entire chain to ensure product quality. This made it increasingly necessary to establish a more stable, efficient, and agile supply chain procurement system.
To address this, ZY team conducted in-depth research at Truliva Group's business frontlines through surveys, workshops, and seminars, covering RPM, OEM, premium food, and NPI procurement organizations, as well as the SQE supplier management department. This comprehensive approach allowed the team to fully identify requirements and pain points. Based on Truliva Group's overall IT planning and actual business needs, and leveraging the agile delivery capabilities of the "Tiangong" platform, both parties established a phased implementation strategy. Key milestones were completed sequentially, including blueprint design, system design, interface confirmation, data consolidation, integration testing, and user training, ensuring a smooth system launch.
Building a Full-Chain Digital Procurement Management Platform
The newly launched platform covers core modules such as supplier management, sourcing management, contract management, and quality collaboration. It enables full lifecycle management of suppliers—from registration, qualification, performance evaluation to phase-out—as well as end-to-end digitalization of the source-to-contract process.
The platform supports multiple sourcing methods, including RFQ, e-auction, and e-bidding, covering sealed bidding, multi-round bidding, tiered bidding, and online expert evaluation. Sourcing results are automatically written into the price database. Contract management achieves an end-to-end closed loop from drafting, approval, e-signature to archiving and alerts. In terms of quality collaboration, the platform supports 8D corrective actions, claims management, and factory audit processes. Supplier performance is quantitatively assessed through evaluation templates and automated scoring. Additionally, the platform is deeply integrated with OA, ERP, DingTalk, and other systems, eliminating digital silos and enabling efficient collaboration of information flow, logistics, and capital flow.
Through the "Tiangong" delivery model, the project achieved rapid deployment of core functionalities. This model leverages pre-configured business templates and standardized procurement strategies to enable out-of-the-box core capabilities. The entire delivery process relies on model-driven design, visual configuration, and modular workflow composition, enabling rapid customization and localized application deployment. This significantly shortens the go-live cycle, reduces implementation costs, and ensures flexible configuration with stable operation.
Following the system launch, Truliva Group has achieved more standardized and refined supplier management, unified procurement data platforms, effectively reduced audit risks, and substantially improved overall supply chain control.
Looking Ahead
With the platform launch as a starting point, both parties will leverage their respective strengths to drive joint innovation. While ensuring stable system operations, they are committed to exploring new pathways and models for digital transformation in China's water purification industry, helping to elevate supply chain management across the sector to new heights.
